I’m a big fan of Eva Zeisel who thought that objects should appeal with the hands as well as the eyes. Ceramics are tactile in nature, but I love it when people can’t resist touching mine. It’s always a great feeling to have my work recognised with an award, but my biggest satisfaction is from receiving happy customer feedback about our products. Running a business is time consuming, but these messages uplift my day.

The HCZ Ceramics Industrial Design Cup has invited us to submit products for the past two years. In 2017, the textured porcelain vase collection won a silver prize and in 2018, the Kaya teaset won the gold! The Eva teaset also won a gold award in the 2014 Golden A’ Design Award for Tableware.
